AWC — now an ACA Paddle America Club

Trip Coordinators Needed!
Anyone wanting to lead a club sanctioned trip should contact the Club Trip Coordinator: Michael Carman at 505-344-0125 or dmcarman2001@yahoo.com.

Note: In accordance with ACA rules any sanctioned trip by AWC must be covered by insurance. This would be done by either having all participants already covered (by being an ACA member) or them paying an event fee (this would cover the entire weekend) of $10.

The paperwork is pretty easy:
1) they have already supplied the club with a signed waiver (Mary, the treasurer maintains list),
2) they are an ACA member, need to sign a waiver form (I have an electronic file for the form) and provide their ACA number (required) or
3) sign a waiver and pay the $10 fee (this would apply if they don't have their ACA number).

When the trip is over the trip leader will need to send the money and waivers back to the treasurer for processing. This is required, if the trip leader wants to have the trip sanctioned by AWC (listed in the calendar and on the website).
